Anyone that has pitched would know that the landing spot is incredibly important

Of course it is but it’s practically every game he has some sort of an issue with it.  Hes clearly bothered by it tonight.

He just can’t help himself.  He just has to make a crappy ass challenge a game.  The count is 0-2 in a 4-0 game.  You don’t need to challenge it regardless if it was close or not.

honestly, when youre that big and lanky and moving that fast, you're just a lot more susceptible to an awkward injury. bigger they are, the harder they fall. and then with how much movement and landing in a different spot/angle than most pitchers creates another challenge. i dont want to see an ankle or knee injury because of some grounds issue. we have too much on the line with this pitcher. And by the way, what an absolute dump of a field for a team whose payroll is ridiculously high.

What incentives do away teams have to make it right? None.

So much for impatient Chourio being a liability.

Looks like he took his quiet benching yesterday to heart.

i just feel these vets need more mental resets then Murph gives them. How many guys we see come back from a day or two off, ready to hit. Plus gives some of the young guys some needed ABs

Another rally in spite of Chourio

I get as frustrated as everyone with some of Chourios ABs. I also realize how damn fortunate we are to watch him play at this age. He’s literally a top 10 player im so many categories at his age.

I’m a huge fan of Chourio and he should play all the time.  But he’s been terrible with runners in scoring position and the criticism is warranted     But he is young

he was like the only guy who hit in the playoffs last year

Not sure how long I’d keep Miz out there.  He’s so worried about his landing spot he doesn’t have anything on his fastball.

He does seem to have the clutch gene.

I forgot he's young Micky Mantle and we should count ourselves lucky to watch him play 😆
