They found the off day vs a lefty for Turang I think I mentioned a few days ago.  Though my idea was to do it today and have Vaughn at 3B, though that's a bit less needed if they wanted Bauers another day off.  Plus you gotta get hamilton in there

If it really is only a bruise I wonder if May could be ready to start in a couple days and give give everyone an extra day? The IL wouldn't be the worst if it is only 10 days, he essentially would miss 1 start and we could Uribe or Romero up here easily. I would prefer maybe giving Cam Wagoner a cup of tea in the bigs though.

IL for a pitcher is a minimum of 15 days.

IL for a position player is 10 days.

Need 5 innings completed for an official game or 4.5 if the home team is winning. Doesn’t matter if the lead is 1 run or 10 runs, the game can get called at that point.

I remember in my younger days when the Brewers played at County Stadium.  When they would get ahead by the 5th and pray it rained so they would win.  :-)

As of now it seems they'll have a good window to get this in, or at least get in Miz's 6 innings.  Best case is winning handily like 5-0 after 6 and game gets called

So Frelick goes 3 for 4 last night as the leadoff man with an ill advised bunt attempt his only blemish, and he gets bumped down to seventh?

You think you can hurt me? I watch Wisconsin sports. You can't hurt me.

This has always been a weird pet peeve of mine ... runners on base running out pop ups beyond bases.

Ortiz pops that up. 2 outs. Sanchez is running obviously. Sanchez rounds 2nd and is jogging to 3rd when Lindor catches it. If Lindor drops it, Sanchez is out by 15 feet at 3rd. It happens so often. I understand that unlikelihood of the ball dropping but nevertheless...

Come on!  Gary beat out that throw to first and got the Brewers their 2nd run.   He must have been gassed.

I know Lara hasn’t really earned it and his status are not the greatest but I still believe he would be the best #1 for this lineup going forward.  His approach is just far better suited as a leadoff hitter.
