Shohei Ohtani will not pitch Sunday. #Dodgers will start Tyler Glasnow. Ohtani won't pitch Tuesday either (that will be Eric Lauer). No date circled for him to return to pitching at this point. Dave Roberts was uncertain if Ohtani will stop throwing bullpen sessions or live BPs

Zero nerves at all. Brewers are 7.5 up, the lead hasn’t really changed much. Run differential hasn’t changed much, Brewers are the best team in baseball and have the luxury of not playing in the first round unlike the Cubs. They have a very very tough draw in the Phillies likely. I’d also likely pick the Phillies in that series at this point.

Let’s also not forget what a beaten up Chourio managed to do in the playoffs both of the last 2 seasons. He rises to the level when needed.

One is going to be the NL MVP, one still has a lot of work to do, but I do still believe in him, but if given the choice, right here, right now, today, I'm taking PCA all damn day.

Just that there is important nuance in the conversation, specifically when it comes to at the plate.

Exactly, like what are we doing here? Lol. And compare the schedules. Brewers have gone through the gauntlet and still kept the distance they have. Brewers can’t match the offense the cubs have but the gap is far closer than the Cubs matching the Brewers bullpen and starting pitching. And again, I’m taking the Phillies who are 21 games over .500 since May 1st if they matchup with the Cubs

Their bullpen is hot garbage and their starters are nothing special.

I would be very surprised if Chourio ever has a year like Armstrong has had this year though.
