I'll go with the homer.  It would be Stallings if he Sproated out 7 runs and still got the save, but he did pitch scoreless ball.

All radio for me- but worth the listen through 6 since the game got bonkers at that point. 
My question is- did we plan to approach Abbott differently in some way to make sure we were getting hits early? or was he just dealing meatballs?

We have to make adjustments in the playoffs to each pitcher. Can’t expect 6 runs by the 2nd vs the Dodgers…

It really has picked up since the Braves series. 

In July the Brewers averaged 4.69 RPG which is close to the NL average for the season of 4.62 

In August they equaled the NL average of 4.62, even with the help of the  22 run game, which came in the middle of a generally down stretch. 

But, in the last 15 games before tonight they scored 90 runs (6 RPG) without scoring more than 10 in any one game.

Including tonight they have scored 6 runs or more in 9 of the last 16 games. That has kept the wins coming while the pitching cooled during the stretch of 16 games in 16 days.

Well it's one or the other, either we focus on the current game being played and only that game or we talk about the overall picture and get reminded of questionable things we've said in the past. Can't pick and choose when it suits us.
