Not sure who's starting today... Murph said Harrison probably would only appear in relief, but maybe we'll see a piggyback where he comes on for bulk duty in the third. Either way, the Brewers are the better team tonight (Singer has been rough this year).

At this time of the year it's great to see all those zeroes in the RP chart. Kudos to May for two nice outings in a row (I thought he looked mostly solid in the rain-shortened game in Cincinnati) & to Stallings for allowing the BP to go one & out yesterday.

Absolutely. Or, take out all the times they score one run or get shut out😀.

Bottom line, I think this group has proven they're a better offensive team than what a lot of us thought. Are they susceptible to a well-pitched game? Like most teams, yes.

Nothing to back this up but it feels like they are hitting more home runs of late.  Given how important the long ball is in the post season, I hope its true!

Agreed, I read the other day that 45% (ish) of all postseason runs are scored on HR's, so fingers crossed it's a trend.

Brewers are hitting the ball in the air more in general so far in September than they have any other month this year. GB rate is 40.9% this month compared to a previous low of 45.8%

Also, Kyle Tucker, who they signed for $240M (55M this year) is hitting .228 with a .696 OPS.  What's that German word, schadenfreude?

Constantly seeing the clips on YouTube showing Tucker's laziness.  Dodgers being carefree with handing out a contract that would cripple half the teams in the league.

I know I’m in the minority, but if the Cubs/Phillies stay in the 4/5 then I’d rather be the 2.  Mostly for my own personal sanity of not having the emotional stress of facing the Cubs in the playoffs.

Let the Braves/Dodgers/Padres sort themselves out.  I'll take Philly or Chicago.  Bottom line is the Rockies aren't going to be an option so we are going to have to beat good teams.

I'm not sure how to feel...

I'd love nothing more than to knock the Cubs from the playoffs, but simply could not take the opposite happening.
