Interesting idea. Could probably go for lower cost and get a big crowd and make it work financially. Still can make money on concessions and other sales.

I was wondering if they could get enough workers on this short of notice.  Or shoot for doing it one away game.

I'm surprised this isn't already happening. I'm pretty sure other teams have been doing this for years.

Astros did it when they were regularly in the playoffs and WS. I went to one game. It was a fun vibe.

Staffing issues is the reason. Don't see it happening in the NLCS.

World Series, if they can finish this off, might be a possibility. They'd probably have to start planning for staff now though.

I’d be interested in knowing what would be the hold up….we can have playoff games or not at a moment’s notice and the park is seemingly staffed somewhat.  We know the possible dates for away games too to plan ahead. I agree staffing must be an issue but I’m just guessing.  

The place would be hopping for away games too! I wasn’t convinced a week ago. I am now.

Another theory could be beside stadium vendor type staff, is the security/police aspect of it.  I have no idea how that is coordinated/contracted/paid for with the city

Honestly for those (like myself) complaining about ticket prices for the Series, this seems like a low cost way to celebrate the Brewers post season.

I like the approach of making people pay but giving food value for it. Basically it allows them to guarantee that it's worth all the staff being there, but not have it cost a ton. Same for parking, probably covers staff plus some profit - can't argue with that.

Can't make it tonight but would definitely consider going another night.

I’m really curious about the attendance they could draw during the WS. I wish I could come participate but if I flew down from anchorage I’d watch with my parents at their place instead.

I'm so glad they did this. It was electric in there, hopefully it happens again for the World Series road games!
