Spoiler alert: Girl moves to the big city but hears about some business closing in her small home town.  She goes back to save the business where she runs into her crush from high school.  It's a little awkward at first but they team up to save the business while finding love.

Forgot the big snowstorm that got them stuck and they couldn’t leave town.

Ain't it the truth! Almost over as soon as it began, it seems.

We've got about 5 years left with this team!

Not... this EXACT team, but a very similar team! The same heart and soul!

Congrats to Woody.  Great story in coming back to pitch in the WS.  Might be your last inning as a Brewer, but way to make it back.

And for good measure... he made sure it wasn't 10-0. 😉

Woody knows what’s up.

Like the Buccaneers vs Packers at Lambeau in 1985?

I keep pinching myself to make sure I'm awake

I didn’t know how to process that 5th inning. It was so far removed from my expectations for this game. A relaxed World Series win was not on my bingo card. Glad my boys got to watch with me—they were really fired up.

One more win.

These guys won't get complacent. But baseball is weird. We're THIS close.

Thoughts (I have almost none):

1) I feel like Gasser WANTED Simpson to run in the first. He uses the two disengagements right away. Simpson takes off. Overslides. Set up the game nicely.

2) Woodruff looked fine, and I'm SO happy he got out there. That said, I'm not sure that was WS roster stuff. Still, what a way to get that guy on the hill.

3) That 5th inning was excellent. And one of the best parts is, okay, the Rays didn't use Kelley. But we did that against Booser. Just broke him. Turang and Mitchell left on left. Pratt HUGE two-run double.

4) If this gets back to MKE, you have to think the Rays will need to use Martinez and maybe Rasmussen. Even Peralta out of the pen in Game 5. Our pitching staff is SO deep, and it really matters in this exact situation. If the Rays do manage a win tomorrow, you have to make them pay the pitching tax.

5) Caminero has to throw to first there. That really opened the door.

6) I love Sal laying out for that. That's the level of focus it's going to take.

Let's finish this.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

I feel like I’m in some amazing dream at the moment. We’re one win away from being World Series champs! I need to find a local t shirt shop in Milwaukee to support with purchasing a shirt. Any recommendations?

I think you start May tomorrow.

Yelich was the hidden mvp of that game.   Beating out that routine play.

As soon as Caminero looked like he was going to second, I started yelling that Yelich was going to be safe. I completely assumed he'd throw to first.

Gary’s PH walk in the Padre series. Yeli’s hustle. Those are such huge circle-them-in-the-score-book moments of this postseason. I hope they get remembered forever.

They have a new plot this year!

Small-town girl makes it big as an on-the-field reporter. Then interviews the MVP of the WS champions and falls in love.  Has a fight in the offseason as he goes back to Venezuela, but bumps into him in spring training.  He proposes at the All Star game and they are married in the 7th inning stretch of game 4 of their second WS sweep.

I was happy to see Chad Patrick in the dugout having a good time. Gotta be tough for him.

Let’s quit looking for drama……..he’s been in the dugout cheering every game…..just like Woody…..Grant Anderson…..and Bryce Wilson…..in the NLCS.
