May for 4

Romero for 1

Hall for 1

Uribe for 1

Ashby for 2

Do you have something against MeGill?

Something out of the box, but I think Megill should start tonight.
Force Cash to figure out if he is going to bench Aranda and Palacios again like yesterday, or take the risk that the Crew will go with Drohan/Hall/JoJo leading to Ashby next getting L-L matchups.
Megill provides an emotional spark against the top of their order and gives us a matchup advantage.

Do I give my boss a heads up today that I may need to take PTO Thursday or Friday?

I'll miss the first bit of the game tonight, as a former piano student of mine invited my wife and I to a dinner to be honored as a mentor before a special one act play performance that he's in (he's a senior). In a way, I'm thankful because it might possibly lessen my nervous excitement. Maybe.

I was going to joke in the other thread that we should just run the order backwards for the heck of it.

But closing out a championship is a different beast, even if the series is 3-0. I want our high leverage guys in at the end who have been pitching in tense situations all postseason.

Welcome to the busiest day in BF HISTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

I haven't talked to him so I can't be for certain, I just remember his last few posts in the off season or early season he was saying it is a rigged system and he couldn't support it anymore or something. Posted a bunch of links to some petitions or something like that. Haven't heard from him since. I agree if he is protesting it is such an unfortunate season to pick...

I would say that the Brewers have not done treego a very big solid in giving him supporting arguments this season,

He reacted to a few posts in the Padres or Cubs thread, so he probably silently reads the forum still. Really only chimed in a few times this year to vent disgust about the Dodgers.

Senzatela only threw 26 pitches yesterday over two innings.  I could see him as an opener today to get through Caminero.  Then after Caminero go to Drohan for hitters 5-9; I think Drohan has had some elbow soreness which is why he didn't finish the season strong and hasn't  pitched much in the playoffs.

Then once they get back to the top of the order, go to May.  Then, see where things are at after 6.

I think about this trade a lot, and I’m thinking about it now that two of the byproducts of it might be #1 and #2 of our postseason MVPs on our World Series run.

I have a feeling Aranda is going to be in there regardless of who starts. That could make starting Harrison a shrewd play if Murph (and us fans) has the stomach for it.

Crazy in retrospect. Was quite gutsy trade.

But also, thank you A’s for having a weird obsession with Ruiz that you just HAD to have him. That trade always felt crazy lopsided for the Brewers from the jump.

Yeah I remember the discussions at the time talking about getting Contreras and the reactions were almost universal along the lines of “Just Ruiz? There’s no way it’s just Ruiz.”

Payamps was actually a pretty significant contributor too, albeit for a very short time.

I kinda want to start Harrison. Getting him a little confidence boost going into '27 would be awesome. Only has to be one inning and then go to Drohan.

Brewers will be going for a postseason record 9-game winning streak and be the first team to ever to sweep both the LCS and World Series.

In the regular season, the Brewers never won more than 5 games in a row.

Definition of playing your best baseball at the right time.

At one point in April, Milwaukee was 13-13 … several games back of white-hot Chicago.

Since then, they have a 100-47 record.

I was a little worried about next seasons SP. Feels like we've been patch working it since the all star break an everyone is well over the amount of innings pitched previously. Gassner is showing what we saw in him 2 years before he got hurt and the top 2 with Priester coming back is going to be a really good 1-4.

We'll have fixed Colton Gordon by then, he'll start 15 games for us.
