Some random sleep deprived thoughts: They gotta find a better spot to put the "World Series Champions" pennant at Am Fam than where all the division champs ones currently are plastered on the facade of the press area behind home plate, right? Like, let's get serious here.

Also, man tickets are going to get so expensive for all the World Series promos they're gonna end up having next season (assuming there is one of course) lol.

Serious question - why did the Brewers put Andrew Vaughn on their postseason roster?

because he's a good hitter...... who would you have wanted to take his spot?

I’m sure it’s been mentioned but I’m not going to scroll the entire thread to find out but I find it amazing that you could legitimately make a case for 5 different Brewers to have been MVP.

Wild Bill obviously

Chourio

Pratt

Ashby

and even Miz who won 2 of the 4 games including the clincher and gave up only 1 run in 10 2/3 innings.

Having had time to reflect, what's remarkable to me is that if we asked at the beginning of the season, "What would it take for the Brewers to win it all this year?", I think most would say that we would need a few players to exceed expectations, and a couple players to have an MVP like season. We really only had one - the Miz - and even he was fading down the stretch.

And that's the thing. Over the course of the year, literally EVERY ONE of our regular players (position players and pitchers, rookies and deadline acquisitions) had a run, but then also went into a funk where you started to worry if they were unplayable. But whenever someone went into a funk, someone else had their back and went on a run.

The whole season and post season I've been saying to myself, "The Brewers as a team haven't played their best baseball yet." But the truth is, the best version of this Brewers team was "If someone goes into a funk, someone else has their back." The truth is, the Brewers played the best version of themselves THE ENTIRE YEAR, from game 1 to game 175.

That's what I will love and remember about this team forever. Not the individual accomplishments, or even the individual moments, but their RELENTLESS "we've got each other's back" effort.

There is an amazing amount of love for the Brewers organization and fans across the country today. That is terrific to see, and makes the win all the more enjoyable.

Except for the ones that say we cheated somehow.    😀😀😀😀

I know some gave Joe Davis a lot of crap during these playoffs but I thought his call on the final out was pretty cool. I'll have that on repeat for awhile.

I look forward to those same people being really sick of the Brewers in a few years because we keep winning championships

And just to add on, you could talk about massive moments from Hamilton all playoffs, massive moments from Frelick and Mitchell, massive moments from Bauers and Yelich. Luis Lara had an RBI hit!

Contributions all across the roster, mirroring how they won all year.

Gentlemen, it has happened. They were the best team all year long. They battled. They loved playing together. I’m so happy for the long term fans and those who never doubted!!!!

And lady.

Rewatching and I’ll tell ya what. I don’t ever want to see Chandler Simpson ever again.

Unless he is a Brewer....
