Pratt is hilarious. Everyone else is teary eyed in their interviews and he’s just smirking and says “only took 4 months” 😂

I’m of the opinion that trying to run it back with the same roster is a bad idea. Next year is a new year. We’ll have the same core but we have to look forward and not back. But if there’s one guy I would overpay for, and I know I’ve been opposed to it but I changed my mind, we need our MVP, spend all the windfall on him.

This is interesting

According to McCullough, Detroit wanted a top hitting prospect and a controllable young starting pitcher, but Milwaukee was unwilling to part with rookie left-hander Logan Henderson. Instead, the Brewers offered three position-player prospects: infielder Luis Peña, utility player Jett Williams and outfielder Josh Adamczewski. Peña was No. 27 on Keith Law’s January 2026 list of top 100 MLB prospects and Williams was No. 45.

Detroit accepted the offer that afternoon.

I can still remember how irritated I was that evening when the Skubal to LAD went down while watching the Brewers game.  All that consternation is for naught now.

To watch Robin Yount wax poetic in a World Series Champion Brewers locker room into the willing wanting ears of one RHP Logan Henderson. Folks, I pleaded with Robin Yount to stay a Brewer in 4th Grade as a student at Hillside Elementary. I was on Channel 4 news. He meant everything to me. His was the only Brewers jersey I ever wore as a kiddo. To see him in that locker room waxing poetic to Logan as to how this '...made an old man happy!' healed his old wounds of the 1982 loss and his inability to get back to that stage....it means everything. What a season. What a post-season. What a night.

Been on Brewerfan since 2004. Went to way more Buckethead Brigade games than are probably healthy, with, maybe 9000 other hardy souls.

Was there when Chad hit his cycle and the Bill Hall comeback game.

Had a ticket for the only playoff game we won after 26 years away. Then had to give it up when the date coincided with a wedding I was hired to DJ at.

I've had to ride TWO mechanical bulls in the Gaslamp District after the Crew blew 2 games vs my buddy's Padres.

Lots more memories, both good and bad, following a team of occasional underachievers.

All of that leads us to here. Best team in baseball, with the huge-ass trophy to prove it!!!

Flags fly forever, Brewerfans!!

How can you not be romantic about Brewers baseball:

Fans gripe about Big Woo's sole inning in a 10-0 shellacking. "He isn't available in Game 5!" THIS is why he was rostered. THIS is why he was given the choice of when to pitch. The culture started with Murphy. AND, Murphy knows people. And, he knows how incredible Big Woo is as a historic Brewer and organizational stalwart. THIS says it all right here. This team was so much bigger than the sport and they overtook it.

This is beyond belief. The Milwaukee Brewers are World Series champions. I know you all know this, but I’m gonna need to keep writing and saying it until it starts to seem real.

Gotta feel for Kyle Harrison. Hope 2027 is kind to him. Hope he knows how important he was this year. Hope he knows just how much love there is for him.
