What songs are stuck in your head?

Halloween Parade by Lou Reed. Probably will be stuck there until the end of October. That and Halloween by the Dead Kennedys.

Last night I saw the Killers do a version of Romeo and Juliet by Dire Straits. Wow. That is going through my head right now.

What a great song and they nailed it.

For about four days now... "More Than a Feeling" by Boston.

I'm OK with that though.

I take "I'm OK with that though" to mean, that you took a belt sander to your ears.

This is the one I heard on the radio the other day, and I am about ready to take a melonballer to my eye-sockets.

I was going to post the original video, but that would have been an unspeakable evil, and folks, that is not how I roll,

so I found a version I remember seeing as a kid.

EDIT: -- When I finally lose it, and I am gunned down in a tower in my clown-suit with my sniper rifle, I fully expect the police report to read "That song by Chilliwack was playing on his IPOD on continuous repeat."

"The Nightfly" by Donald Fagan.

An independent station

WJAZ

With jazz and conversation

From the foot of Mt. Belzoni

Sweet music

Tonight the night is mine

Late line 'til the sun comes through the skylight

I bought Decemberists pre-sale tickets to "The Long and the Short of it" at the Riverside in November a couple days ago, and after shuffling the entire catalog the past day or so, "Angel Won't You Call Me" has become lodged in my head. This is a good thing, though.

I found it streaming here: "Angel, Won't You Call Me?"

The instrumentals from "My Favorite Game" by The Cardigans was stuck in my head for like a week. I have no idea how it go there, as I don't remember hearing it recently, and it took forever for me to even figure out what song it was.

Last night it was the remake of "Movin' on Up" that plays in the Mercedes-Benz commercial during Brewers games. Fortunately for that song, by coincidence I have come to associate it with Brewer victories, so I don't mind it...yet.
