    If the Brewers feel it is a fair trade I don't know why the Brewers wouldn't go after Naylor/O'Hearn. They still need to win games to get to the playoffs and if they get there Hoskins could still play a fair amount at DH with Yelich in LF.

    As usual, thanks for doing this. FYI, I was taking a look at a few of the Baseball Reference links and Eric Brown/Luis Castillo are going to the incorrect player.

    I would think with the off day Thursday and All Star game after that Patrick is sent down for a reliever. Not sure about after the break, Woodruff and Cortes have to show they can stay healthy.

    If Coleman Crow wasn't a lock prior to his Thursday start, he is now

    At some point I imagine Joel Payamps will be back with Milwaukee.

    Smith has already been on the roster long enough where if he has to go on the IL the rest of the year they would keep him. They can't option him though.

    Doubleheader works out okay for the Brewers. Bullpen is rested with two straight days off, Woodruff available to pitch the weekend so no emergency starter due to the doubleheader and Miz gets an extra days of rest before his start next week.

    A little too much speculation with Contreras even at the national level, my guess is he doesn't see the IL.

    Brewers continue to reload with more players coming back during the month of July, including some trade upgrades. Winning still with a 14-10 record.

    After Priester's great start yesterday this me be the last we see of Patrick for a bit

    Now that Prince has been added to the Derby I don't mind missing the start of the game. Get to see him hit some out one last time.

    For baseball it would be a good idea to market young players like Misiorowski and get him into the game. For just the Brewers I don't know if it is a good idea.

    44th Street near the park is the closest but better get there real early especially on a potential sellout like today.

    I think I would rather have him continue to start in the minors in case of injury or one of the other starters struggle. Unlike a guy like Henderson or Miz there isn't really an innings limitation with Patrick. Even if optioned he could play a factor down the stretch.

    If the Brewers non tendered Mitchell he would have no problem getting a major league contract.

    I think Collins fits the bench description but he has produced, took the ball and ran with it. Durbin has stabilzed 3B, even though he is below average still offensively he isn't a black hole like Capra/Dunn were set to be.

    6 million is way too much for an guy like Vaughn but not exactly a ton of options there for the Brewers in 2026. Maybe they roll with Vaughn/Martinez.

    After what they did with Civale I don't know why there would be much doubt with Miz. Patrick is a different story though

    Peralta has never really gone deep into games, we have all seen him pitch for years. Over his 15 starts this year he is averaging more innings a game than he has in his career. Not by much but it isn't like this year is any different than the past.

    The Brewers might have a little leverage still considering Peralta is set to make only $8 million next year. Would like to see if he would take 5/100 and tear up next year. Would take him through his age 34 season and they have a young rotation not getting paid much. By the time they get paid Peralta will be done. Peralta knows what happened to Woodruff can happen to him so still some incentive to get guaranteed money.

    This is a little earlier than the Brewers traded for him last year but would think a trade would be possible versus a DFA, get some salary relief for a trade down the road.

    I'm with you on that, they will have a ton of starters as it stands now with options next year that they could send down if necessary. Priester, Patrick, Myers, Henderson, Miz, Gasser, Rodriguez, Ashby. It's not exactly an old rotation with little flexiblity.

    Woodruff has been on the 15 day IL all season and can be moved to the 60 day at any time.

    I would also guess that this is for one start and then optioned back down for a reliever but makes Thursday's game more interesting. Unless Priester has a horrible outing tonight he has been really solid the last month and a half so not seeing him go down. 40 man is full but easy enough to put Woodruff on the 60 day IL since he has already been on the IL that long.
