Nickname for Gamel?

The Gameler. Then when he makes an error they can play The Gambler by Kenney Rogers ... you gotta know when to hold em...
There needs to be a King Thames version of the bible.

I don't think Gamel Toe is very complimentary, and I wouldn't even think about buying a shirt that said it. Anyway, I agree with Mat the Bat. It really does seem like the obvious choice.

If I had Braun's pee in my fridge I'd tell everybody.

I submit "Better Than Wiggington".

And a song for Mat, to the tune of Dean Martin's Volare:

Mat Gamellll....whoaaaaaa

Mat Gamellll....whoaaaaaa

He surfs into the sun

And he's better than Todd Dunn

(you see, he went to the same high school as Todd Dunn!)

I think you have to go with the double t if you're going to use that. Mat the Bat - lame. Mat the Batt - clever.

I think Gamel Toe is funny around your friends. Not a good nickname though. That's like when my friends spent the entire season referring to Hardy as Va-JJ. Again, funny around friends, but if I was Hardy or Gamel, I wouldn't want that as my nickname and probably be somewhat offended.

I would support Mat the Batt if Pat Burrell didn't already have something similar.

How about The Stroke. He's got a nice swing, and, much like the band The Strokes, Mat will probably never be able to live up to the hype.

Or, like Billy Squier, he will more than live up to the hype.

I like Mat the Batt. Also digging MGD, nicely done MadisonBrewerBlue. Gamel Toe is totally a giggle-with-your-frat-friends kindof deal ... a'la va-JJ.

Submitted for your approval: Mat Gamer. Woulda been better under Yost's reign, but I still like it.

Looks like Jeff's Sports is embracing the Mat Camel idea. Either that, or they are really trying to sell a knock off auto'd ball!

edit: What I find really funny about it, is that they got the one t in Mat right but got the last name wrong.
Everything I've ever known, I've learned from Brewerfan.net....Seriously though
