2011-06-07 Mets (Capuano) at Brewers (Marcum) - [Brewers lose, 2-1]

Houston ties the cards at 2 still bottom 1

[mtrebs]

Do you think Betancourt would have got to that ball?

[owbc]

Hmm, Reyes would look nice in a Brewers jersey.

Hmm, Reyes would look nice in a Brewers jersey.

Ill second that

[hawing]

I was hoping some Brewer would get on base just to see Cappy's sweet, sweet pickoff move. Preferably one that just misses. Sigh.

P.S. Shaun: Just because I'm waxing nostalgic for the moment does not mean you can walk the pitcher.

[ilovebeer]

That was a much better inning for Shaun only had to throw 14 pitches.

[ilovebeer]

At least Casey didn't strike out.

[umphrey]

If McGehee can't get it going against Cappy today I think it's time to take him out of the 5 spot until further notice. I hope he gets some hits though, XBH preferably.

[Oxy]

I love to watch Shaun pitch.

I do to, but that was a frustrating first inning with two walks and 27 pitches. Let's hope for some quick innings for him.

I love it that we've gotten to the point of being frustrated over throwing too many pitches in one inning rather than giving up too many runs in one inning http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

game is blacked out on mlb.tv in the new york area....figures. and no i do not own a tv.

RR told Tom H that Casey may move down in the order tomorrow.

Changeup clinic tonight

Shaun's struggling to get ahead in the count. Fortunately it hasn't hurt him so far

Another nice low pitch inning for Shaun pitch count at 55 through 3 innings.

[trwi7]

This umpire blows.

[Schlitz001]

I can't believe that 3rd strike to Weeks. Marcum has had that same pitch called a ball several times tonight.

[ilovebeer]

Why couldn't Cappy pitch like this for us?

[trwi7]

Marcum looks like crap tonight. Can't put anyone away.

[ilovebeer]

It seems like every Mets hitter goes to at least 6 pitches.

[ilovebeer]

Yuni now has a higher batting average than Casey.

[trwi7]

How about you give the Brewers the low strike, moron?

[Yeti73]

I feel good about this AB for Go-Go. I think he'll give it a ride.

[SoCal Brew Crew Fan]

Impatient hitter vs. Change up specialist...not a good matchup for Crew

[ilovebeer]

Is it me or has this been a long 4 inning game?

[jjkoestler]

Uecker made GoGo's catch sound pretty spectacular. Can anyone confirm or deny?

[logan82]

He went a long way to get it. I wish he had not jumped into the wall for it though. It didn't look like he needed to.
