2012 General Draft Discussion

[Oldcity]

Seems like hitters are going earlier. Wonder if this means the Brewers will switch to pitchers?

[TooLiveBrew]

Have there been any big reaches and/or surprises so far? Aside from Appel, of course.

[ListachRides]

Can Richie Schaffer get down to us?

[jjfanec]

5 picks before our picks. Who are people hoping to slide?

Stroman sounds pretty good. Seems like Brewers might be willing to look past the height issue.

[ListachRides]

Shaffer and Marrerro would appear to be real good value that would fit our needs. Maybe pair one of them with a high-upside hs guy?

[Oldcity]

Now I'm hoping for Gallo and/or Piscotty.

[patrickgpe]

very off topic, but does anyone else think its weird that bud announces the city of the college the players attend instead of their hometown.

[TooLiveBrew]

So much for Stroman. Getting close to that #27 pick now! Edited June 5, 2012 by TooLiveBrew

[thablingster]

There goes Stroman. Sounds like a pretty solid pick for the Blue Jays.

[Oldcity]

Watch the Cards select Gallo. I can feel it.

[jjfanec]

Sounds like people wanted Stroman. Is he more than a reliever? If not, I am surprised people wanted to use a first round pick on a closer

[PrinceFielderx1]

I'm getting very anxious now. So close to #27.

[TooLiveBrew]

I didn't want Stroman, just started my post & then he was selected.

[ListachRides]

Great! Was never a Ramsey guy.

Makes sense. I am actually happy about the past 5 picks. Seems like some solid bats are sliding to us

[Raw Biz]

Hoping for 2 of Gallo, Marrerro, or Piscotty.

[ListachRides]

Gallo & Marrerro would be a pretty terrific haul.

[monkeyman343434]

I'm hoping for Roache, huge power and possibly easier sign, and Smoral here. Then another HS arm at 38.

[Oldcity]

Gal-lo! Gal-lo!

[dlk9s]

I like how Bud says, "...are now on. the. clock."

[heresrobin]

Gallo, Hensley, Jankowski are my 3 right now...

[Invader3K]

I'm in the chat room now if anyone wants to join in as the Brewers first pick approaches.

[Never Outhustled]

I'll say Piscotty and Coulter, with Binsen at 38.

[SRB]

Gallo + McCullers?
