I always forget how potent the Rockies lineup is. If they only had pitching.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Finally, we're back!

I always forget how potent the Rockies lineup is. If they only had pitching.

It always looks potent until the inevitable June injury to Tulo.

How many points off his BA if he can't do his 30 second OCD ritual between each pitch?

So the search for graphic design talent still a work in progress I see....

Pretty excited about this lineup and pen, if the rotation holds up I actually think this is a wildcard team.

Correct -- zero responses so far

There's such a fine line between success and failure for Lohse. If he doesn't have a feel for all his pitches, look out. Looks like one of those bad days for him so far.

I watched Lohse pitch against the Cubs last week and this looks no different. Talk about sucking the opening day enthusiasm right out of me.

Welp, season's over. See you guys next year!

Lohse with a Gallardo-esque opening inning

I know you're joking and it doesn't really matter if we start 0-1, but this first inning is symbolic of what I expect from our team this year. Good enough bats, but starting pitching not good enough to contend.
