I sure hope so. His BB/K ratio looks so, well, Milwaukee that I'd want to scream. I'd hope the center piece is better than Wheeler.

On one hand I'm glad that the team is "selling". On the other hand, is that really the best offer they could get? Flores is beyond redundant. Some MI is going to be traded. Hopefully it's Flores or Segura and not Arcia.

I am actually sort of hoping they dont do anything and just try to have another go at it next year. Tender Parra the QO, which he will accept. Sign a middling 3b like David Freese, or better yet an aging SS that couldnt really hit all that well as a SS but we will try him at 3b anyway, how about Sean Rodriguez.

 

Then load up on reject relief pitchers like Manny Parra and Joakim Soria.

Same here, I am getting that sinking feeling that the Ramirez trade was our big deal of the deadline. I hope we are wrong.
