Why not pitch your "closer" in the 9th? A close game and you don't want them to score. No reason to save him...

I'm not disagreeing, but managers are weird with things.

Please be patient Arcia. Get a pitch to drive to the OF.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Any chance we pinch run for pina? Maybe a fast pitcher, since I doubt yelich is available or bandy an upgrade.

Also thoroughly enjoyed seeing Albers sit Schwarber down and frustrate the crap out of him. Albers was pumped.

Really just one mistake from Jeffress otherwise the pen was great again.

I love beating the Cubs

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

I'll give Woodruff some credit for holding it together after a rough start and extremely terrible strike zone to pitch to - could've easily gone off the rails early tonight. Hopefully his next 100-ish pitch start gets him into the 6th inning though!
