Here comes a two page debate about whether it was gone or not. :)

Regardless, a nice catch by Cain which made staying up late worth it.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

He knew he was getting that one. Smacked the pocket of the glove and everything just before . That was so smooth. He unlike Bellinger tonight - gets amazing jumps to the ball. So fun to watch.

So, if, in some hypothetical future, the Crew were to have a very meaningful baseball game in Dodger Stadium, I think I might just trust Miley with that start.

How about this to fix the blocking the plate rule. If the catcher makes a clean catch of the throw to the plate, the runner automatically returns to third base. If he bobbles it or whatever, the runner scores, assuming he touches the plate before subsequently being tagged out. We'll call it "catcher's hand!" It'll be a throwback to the days of sandlot baseball when you had to play with "pitcher's hand" when you only had 3 or 4 players per team.

This would need some tweaking for all the situations (plays at the plate with the infield in and the bases loaded, for instance.

Okay I'm only half-serious.

Hey, hey what a catch by Cain!!!! And 7 shutout by Miley!

Let me guess, that doesnt count as robbing a HR

Since it wasn’t Braun, we can probably go ahead and count this one.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I know I'm exaggerating, but I kind of feel like I could stand in the batter's box, swing right when the pitcher releases the ball, and make more contact than Arcia. He's like a goalie guessing on penalty kicks.

Broxton actually seems to always be the one on the end of the "gone or not" arguments.
