First time long time. Was a member like a decade ago but dont remember my username. I wasn't banned ...life just happened.

That out of the way. 6 and 2 looks much better than 5 and 3. But either way excellent 5rip

Our players are the worst, other teams players are the best... Yada, yada, yada... lets start the game already.

You just came off a ban. Probably wise not to start this junk before the game even begins.

Aw, man, Arcia starting?

He and Kratz will be automatic outs...

I'm thoroughly convinced Arcia just doesn't pay attention to the coaches. There's no way they could be ok with his approach. He has zero hope.

Zero hope? :laughing

23 year old who hit .277 for a full season last year. Yep, he should just retire since he struggled this year...

The pessimism is beyond laughable some times.

I hate pitchers who ask where it missed.

If it's right on a corner where it could be either way I get it. When Kershaw is right he probably is good enough to move it an inch either way.

I don’t remember Grandal being bad defensively but this series has been pretty horrendous on his part.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I have never seen a catcher lose his sense of awareness like Grandal the past couple of games. It is like he panics to the point of not being able to see clearly.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

I wanted Schoop here, but 0 for 6 with 4 K's is not a very good way to start.

I think he's pressing, with his new team, as opposed to being loosey goosey lately with the no-pressure Orioles.

And he's looked baaaaaaad doing it. Swinging at everything, not even coming close to hitting most pitches.

I'm sure he'll snap out of it, but man, it's been a rough 6 AB's.

Probably. Hopefully he'll loosen up once he gets the first hit out of the way.

I agree, I also feel like putting him in the clean-up spot puts a slight bit of added pressure on him.
