Are we really going to make Norris look like Roger Clemens tonight of all nights?

I agree. We can't sqander an opportunity like this. No more "at least the Cubs lost" talk. You have to take control.

It’s only the 3rd inning, but tonight’s lineup isn’t looking very good the first time through the order against Norris.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

Is Norris this good or are we just pressing? I know he was a hot prospect a couple of years ago. Is his stuff still that filthy or are we just itching to hit homers and take the lead.

Zero patience so far (minus Yelich.)

I think they’re going to hammer Norris the second time through the lineup. Could be wrong, but the nerves will settle, and I don’t think he has great stuff.

Serious Q though.

Why in the H e double hockey sticks .....

Is hernan Perez batting 5th in any lineup ?

A bunch of people have recently shown stats proving that he's been one of the team's best hitters against LHP's all year. Too lazy to look those stats up now, but you can probably find them in several old game threads when they were playing an LHP starter.

Better break out the bats tonight. Bad time for a stinker but I’ll take it tonight rather than Tuesday.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

If we lose this game, this will be the way I will feel if we lose the WC game. I don't even consider that a playoff game. It would be like they never even made the playoffs.

I enjoyed the interview. Always enjoyed Martinez and it was good to hear his process of stepping away.

Brewers left handed lineup not nearly as scary as the righty one. The chance of Perez and Schoop coming up clutch is minimal. Falling behind is the worst thing that could have happened. Also another Kratz night with Pina sitting trades out another hot bat for a cold one.
