Woodruff becoming a pitcher, mixing in his change and slider more and more. Can’t just sit on his FB anymore.

And yet in the 6th mows through the middle of the order with nothing but 96/97 heat.

Harper is going to be walked a lot less if he can't even touch those center cut FBs. Then he'll start hitting dingers...then he'll start getting walked...then he'll go cold...then he'll get a bunch of center cut FBs...

I hate 3TO players.

It seems like just yesterday people were freaking out over Brandon Woodruff’s Easter Sunday start. There will be more rough days (as there are for literally every starting pitcher on the planet), but I feel pretty good about him moving forward.

They may have taken a ding after 5 BB tonight, but coming into tonight his peripherals have been around the top 10 pitchers in baseball (more or less all consensus aces)

Pull the plug at 96 pitches or let the guy cruising take the 7th?

He has dropped his ERA .53 today. 4.25 to 3.72

Close the book on him. Great start!

No one in the lineup under .200! Gotta start somewhere.

Is it my imagination or was Grandal acting like he tweaked his back or shoulder or something after that base hit?

Aguilar is 10/30 with 9 BBs and 8 Ks in May. He looks to have righted the ship even if the power hasn't quite come around yet.

That little roller in the first where Segura beat out Woodruff by half a step is the Phils only hit of the night.

They haven't had a baserunner since the third inning.

I barely noticed on this end, yet I'm sure I'd have shut the TV off in frustration if that were the Brewers.

Damn you Aggie! Be faster!

Saw it as well.

Hiura can just flat out hit folks. Hard contract squaring up on everything... even the fouls are struck well.

Welcome aboard!

Gamel another one of our professional hitters!
