Jay Jackson should finish this one. If he can’t, DFA him the next day.

If he pitches the final two innings tonight, he may be on a plane for San Antonio tomorrow regardless. That seems to be the MO for the shuttle guys.

Ok, seriously needs to be the last game Hiura hits behind Aguilar/Thames spot in the order. Don’t care what hand the starter throws with.

Agree. I don't care too much what order you put Moose, Grandal, Hiura but they should be 3-5. That should actually be a pretty easy decision. I've even thought about Hiura leading off, but now that Cain seems to be getting back to form, probably leave well enough alone there.

I sure wish they could get arcia to cut down on the bat movement pre-launch.

He's resetting the bat position a good two feet as the pitch is delivered and many time he is late getting it settled to the proper launch point

The Dodgers are scary good. The amazing thing is we had them in our building in game 7 to go to the series. The change in fortune between us and them at least to date is remarkable. Makes the opportunity missed hurt all the more.

I’m actually picking the Brewers in 7 in this year’s NL championship series. Freitas with a big 2 run pinch hit double in the ninth, Colome with the save.

When did Cain become a hacker? He was so patient a year ago. Gritty at bats through basically the entire season. So many weak outs this season and many times swinging at bad pitches. Had 71 walks a year ago and has just 29 to date.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

[sarcasm]Glad Yeli stopped slacking in the power department in the second half.[/sarcasm]

Ya, it is nice...considering he said not to long ago he was hitting like a pitcher.

Yelich needs to work on his launch angle a bit. Last two line drive homers have barely made it over the wall.

I just think Hiura has added that something extra this team needed. Yelich is gonna Yelich but Hiura is that x factor alot of us were screaming for. Also anyone like Gamel over Brauny on the regular?

Hiura has been on this team during one of the worst stretches of the year. But yes, X-factor.

More pitching please.
