Guerra spotted an 0-2 count. I predict a walk.

edit: nice pitch, Junior.

Guerra is throwing nothing but 96 MPH heat 3/16ths of an inch off the black the rest of the way.

The Saladino grand slam is right up there with the Schoop grand slam HR against Bumgarner as perfect timing for a struggling hitter.

I was thinking of the schoop homer as well. Hopefully Salad can build more on his than Schoop did

Schoop didn’t really kick on from there though. At all

Hoping against hope Woody doesn’t miss too much time, but now puts The onus on Stearns at the deadline to add a Bauer, Greinke, Ray, Stroman type starter.

No it doesn't.

Your right it really doesn’t, but it sure would help us win the central, and help us in the playoffs.

Just asking an honest question...are you THAT afraid of giving up prospects?? You don't really want them to go get anyone, do you??

What happened to Woodruff? I am not watching the game.

Nevermind just read he left after landing awkwardly on a pitch.

Left the game due to left abdominal discomfort according to Sophia.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

I don't really think our prospects are going to get us the pitcher you're hoping for and you basically put your window to this year and next and the chances of winning the division this year aren't great so you're banking on winning a one game matchup in the wildcard, assuming you get there in the first place.

I’m pretty sure it’s related to the collision at first base with Avila, just heard abdominal discomfort. It was a massive collision, downplayed by the Dback announcers I’m listening to.

Maybe it means he has diarrhea
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

We joked about it earlier (as we should have), but having a bench full of pinch hitting bats is looking like it might actually prove helpful today.

The loaded nachos were a bad choice. Should have played it safe and went with a burger.

Time for Burnes to emerge as the ace of this staff.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Abdominal? I swear the Dbacks announcers said “elbow”. Whew

No they said abdominal discomfort. That could be pretty serious, if I’m the brewers I’m taking him to the hospital to get ct scanned.
