I really wish I could go tonight to see Greinke pitch.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Note: Not sure what is going on with Lyles MLB.com description, I waited awhile for them to correct it but that hasn’t happened yet.

To be fair, after a loss I also call them Pittsburgh.

Greinke’s record at Miller Park is insane. At the surface he is 16-4, but an incredible amount of his no decisions are wins too. For instance the Brewers did not lose a single home start in 2011 he pitched and only a few in 2012.

Pretty amazing considering his ERA is a great, but not insane 3.32 ERA.

Greinke never loses at Miller Park. This one's over.

Though he did lose to the Brewers at Miller Park both last year and the year before.

I’m more concerned about the Astros lineup than Greinke. .

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Grandal is becoming Colin Walsh.

Did Walsh ever hit 22 homers and ops in the mid 800s?

Grandal has like two in the second half with a .223 average and an increasingly passive approach, he has a very empty obp.

No way can this team bring Shaw back, unless they re-build. Which they probably won’t do. Can’t take the chance on a repeat. Some team will think the change of scenery and trade a youngin or two this offseason.

I think Stearns and cc would disagree with you.......baseball is a streaky game.....I think the Brewers are very happy with he season he has had.
