Why does it seem like Freddy Peralta just reels backs, chucks it towards home, and prays?

I believe the technical term is “letting it eat”

Let's hang a few more runs on the board, and get the Williams brothers for the 8th and 9th innings.

(yes, I realize Devin and Taylor are not brothers)

I settle for multiple computer windows with little dots moving around the bases :)

In play, run(s)!!!

Haha. That's the best...and then you sit there waiting to see if it was a home run.

Exactly what I was doing when Braun hit the GS yesterday. I was outside doing something, and Braun's AB indicated "In play, runs(s)" in blue writing. I ran on the house and flipped on the tv in time to see the dinger. Thank goodness for streaming-induced delay LOL

Spangenberg certainly passes the defensive eye test at 2B. He's solid out there.

My first reaction was that Hiura would have rushed that throw.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

As I watched him recover on that tough hop, I imagined Hiura on a similar play rushing that throw. Spangenberg is just smooth.

I think I owe you a Coke or something...

Something tells me Hiura's rushed throws have been noticeable ;)

That Aquino guy for the Reds sure has fallen off a cliff after a hot start. I guess the book is out.

Who started this non stop trend of umpire complaining? My gosh, it looked like it was a ball on the lil tracker box by a sliver. Or it hit the strike zone by a sliver. Is umpiring worse now than a decade ago...I bet not.

It is okay, I will get off your lawn now.

Let Burnes pitch the 9th.

He's not done putting out the post-game buffet in the clubhouse yet.

He’s in some shady living room somewhere being told he needs to breathe through his eyelids.

No doubt!

I rode him for his hot streak in 3 of my 4 fantasy leagues, he was out of control ridiculous for a while.

Cold as ice for a long time now though.

This Reyes guy is 4-0 with a 9.15 ERA. Now that’s impressive.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
