Huge game today. Heading to Cincy with a 3.5 game lead on the Cubs (Cubs/ Cardinals likely rained out) is huge since the Brewers are getting both Gray and Castillo in Cincinnati. Could then afford to lose those two games and still be in drivers seat for wild card spot.

I hope they try to line up Woodruff for the wildcard game start. If he pitches Friday that would be only 3 days rest but he could do that if they keep his pitch count down. Still can't believe how quickly things turned around, on ESPN we are now at 90% chance for playoffs.

My brother and I were talking about that this morning. If the brewers have favorable outcomes in the next game or 2 and we essentially become a lock for a wild card I would love to see an early pull on Woodruff so he can line up for the wild card game.

If today’s game was played 100 times, imo, we’d win at least 91 of them. But this is baseball, blah blah blah. I’m expecting Woodruff to continue to blow away hitters, and the pen to continue their dominance. Hoping for a blowout, would love to see Burnes pitch again.

Woodruff has said that because of the oblique injury he wasn’t going to try to do anything much at the plate. Don’t need a replay of the Chase Anderson injury in 2017. Don’t be surprised if they pinch hit for him to keep him from being tempted to swing too hard.

I have never had much of an opinion on tattoos one way or another. Most of them are fine. The Pirates pitching staff on the other hand look like they had a competition for worst possible forearm tattoos.

I know there are rules about what color sleeves pitchers can wear. Surprised someone hasn't tried to tattoo their arms in white and red ink.
