2 hard hit balls 2 outs........

Sogard will change the trend...

Edit: Changed the hard hit ball trend, but not how I guessed. Give him credit for a nice AB there.

Nobody up in the bullpen. It seems like the Pirates are almost begging the Brewers to break through offensively.

Edit: It did work! Thanks Pirates!!

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Odd choice, even odder with expanded rosters. Thanks I guess!

I like what I'm seeing from Yelich today, he just missed that one. He's too good to slump for much longer.

Yep, really liked the walk. Three of the 4 he took were only an inch or two off the edge and he never budged. Seems like he’s seeing it well.

Dumb. They don’t have an at bat with a RISP but will probably win this game.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I’ll admit, I felt more confident in close games like this last year when we also had Grandal and Moustakas in the lineup. I am hoping Narvaez and Garcia can replace those guys sooner than later.

I’m sure not seeing what you guys are. He got called out on strikes once without taking the bat off his shoulder and got some borderline calls in his favor on the walk. With the bases loaded it looked like he jammed himself and hit a lazy fly ball.

I had hoped he might be coming out of it with the HR and line drive in his final 2 ABs on Saturday, but the last two games have been back to summer camp.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

At this point it is likely we aren’t going to see Josh Hader for the first four games of the season. Did not expect that.

I missed what happened on the error. Anyone want to let me know what happened?

Williams fielded a dribbler and threw it down the right field line.

Williams fielded a weak ground ball that he had to come off the mound to get. Then he threw wildly past Smoak at first base. Ended up runners on second and third base.

Thanks.
