I never thought coming back to take a lead on the Kansas City Royals could feel so exhilarating, yet here we are.

Now score some more runs and hope the bullpen holds up through the middle innings.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

The OPS’s in the lineup are beginning to look a lot more normal.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

They should sign an exclusive broadcast deal with YouTube.

If you were only able to watch them on YouTube this year you’d think this was the reincarnation of Harvey’s Wallbangers.

Braun's having a nice year. Gyorko too. Yelich and Hiura are still a long ways off from what their normal should be.

I can verify this.

Nottingham OPSing at 840 with a 188 avg. kind of impressed.

Granted, there are a lot of impressive players in the BP this year.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Curious on what Hiura's normal "should be." Lots of people annointing him as an All Star level player here, very little evidence to support it both in the field and at the dish.

The Pirates just aren’t going to help us out at all this weekend, are they? They are completely useless...unless they’re playing us.

They did beat them last night but that’s probably all were going to get out of them

It’s amazing how quickly things change in this weird season...

Three weeks ago Jake Cronenworth was the runaway NL Rookie of the Year, now in the month of September he’s hitting: .205 BA / .271 OBP / .318 SLG / .589 OPS

First time I’ve checked in awhile. Brinson doing much better. Mid 700’s OPS with a .250 avg.
