Must win? ;)

Darn close. In the event that the Reds and Brewers tie for that 8th spot I'm sure they'd like to hold a chance at that tie breaker instead of losing the h2h tie breaker to the Reds.

I'm guessing he's out or the Reds wouldn't have challenged.

Pretty clearly on replay. He looked out at regular speed too.

It’s amazing how quickly the 1st inning went from looking good and like they were going to drive up Bauer’s pitch count to a fart noise.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

Also not sure why Peterson is getting the start over Taylor after Taylor hit a bomb yesterday.

It's the Brewer way...

I wonder when the $200 Million man will show up for this team when it needs it.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

You just knew Sogard was going to start today, just knew it...

I will say he has had more than his share of borderline pitches called strikes against him this year.

Certainly does not get the Jordan treatment.

Braun will likely pinch hit in a crucial situation late in the game, right?

How many runs will we spot them in the first inning? My gut says two.

I’m think more so a 4-run third inning for Houser. As I type he walks the lead off batter. Ish.

Winner! (at least so far...)

I figured we would lose this game so I'm not all that upset about it.

If houser can't get lefties out then he can't be a starter.

He’s facing lefties a lot more often this year than last. He’s going to have to have to figure out a neutralizing pitch in the offseason to have any hope to stay in the rotation.

I don't know how we can keep trotting this guy out there every 5th day but the season is almost over anyway. Houser can't be anywhere near our rotation plans for 2021, though.

I'm going to assume by Houser's comment that he had a fantastic bullpen session the other day that he is trying to cry out for help and tell Counsell he should be in the bullpen.
