I mentioned earlier, but the Pats WERE going to call a timeout. The only reason they didn't was that BB looked at the Seattle sideline sideline and just felt something was amiss. He thought calling the timeout was a bailout, so he let it ride.

Man you're missing it. You just said, it if you're stuffed you have to call TO so now they know it's a pass. If you get sacked you're screwed on 3rd down you're screwed, if you run on 3rd and don't get you're screwed. . This was technically the correct route. If you read the article, it also pointed out 3 other times (maybe it was 2) in that game where Lynch was stuffed in the same situations on 3rd and 1/2 that led to punts. Just barreling ahead into the pile when they know that's what they're expecting and have 8 guys there is not the massive lock you're implying. We saw it first hand how many times with McCarthy.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't bash the guy if they just KISS and ran it. Perfectly reasonable to me. But to act like this was one of the worst calls as you guys and many have is just simply incorrect. I only read the one article in order to refresh my memory and it didn't include any statistics on it but I'd be shocked if the math didn't say it was right call.

Miami is going to be considered the disappointment of the NFL this year. All those first round picks are not panning out and Tua is going the way of Jamarcus Russell and Johnny Manziel. Dare I say, the Graham Mertz of the NFL.

Maybe a likely Rodgers destination? Not the west coast but a great place to be a rich celebrity and a franchise that really needs a shot in the arm and would give up a lot.

Impressive play call at the end for Jacksonville there. Didn't expect there to be enough time to get a first down and call a timeout before time expired.

Packers-Cowboys in the Divisional Round this year. Book it.

How fitting would it be to watch Mike McCarthy’s team end Aaron Rodgers’ Packers career after Rodgers ended McCarthy’s Packer career?

I mean, hopefully not like that, but either way it goes, it would be some classic NFL Films type stuff.

McCarthy keeping Rodgers from getting to the Super Bowl isn't a novel thing.

Stafford is looking really good with the Rams this year and if he continues on the pace he is on he should be in the MVP discussion. Brady looks to be the leader for MVP as of now.

Still way too early to tell who is the MVP but right now I would say Brady and Stafford are in the top 5 with Brady leading everyone.

Murray, Dak, and Josh Allen are definitely high end contenders.

Right that is why I said they are in the top 5.

Tom "The REAL GOAT" Brady has to be in this conversation, and as of today, he has to be the leading candidate.

How was the final Viking TD an NFL catch?

Yes, he actually caught the ball, but that means little in the NFL. He caught the ball going to the ground and lost it before getting up. Isn't that an incomplete NFL catch?

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

In all honesty, does anyone really know?
