Eric Lauer scares me, but the ERA isn't terrible. it's boom or bust.

It's kind of nice to watch a baseball game where at least one of the teams plays actual baseball.

Expect to see a lot of wear and tear on the bullpen the next two days. First two hitters on base and Lauer turns his ankle in the process.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Is there any reason that Counsell has twice this series elected not to walk the NL version of Mike Trout with a lefty on deck against a lefty pitcher?

Really really lucky that that swing by Tatis resulted in only 1 run and not 3.

This squad really needs to stop sleepwalking through games. Infinitely more talented than Detroit but you wouldn’t know it by runs scored.

Hiura is so incredibly frustrating. He looks like he's having a good AB, he fouls off some tough pitches, he lays off some pitches he would normally strike out on....and then he pops up a meatball right down the middle.

The Miller Lite commercial where the girl disappears in the couch tunnel and comes out at the fire pit is freaking stupid.

Just a really dumb commercial with no reasoning behind it.

UGH!

Tell me more about Keston tearing it up in the minors...

Looking more and more like a AAAA player.

I said it then and I'll say it now, he was not down there long enough to fix his issues.

The expected batting average on that Willy Adames line out was .820. It was a bullet off the bat, thought it was going to be an RBI base hit.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

The CF looked to be right on that line and not too deep. If he has any kind of arm Narvaez would have had trouble scoring.

I know I'm going to regret saying this later, but Keston's defense seems a lot more passable at 1st than it did at 2nd.

I'd like to see that. Only because on MLB.TV I get to see the hot dog vendor selling wet teddy bears every single half inning.

Sometimes I say to myself, “give these guys a break, hitting major league pitching is really, really hard to do.” Then I watch Eric Lauer hit a home run and I’m like, “ahh, forget it.”
