1st and second with none out and then up comes the Bermuda Triangle of the batting order.

And again, the inning ends looking on a pitch well in the zone.

Lopes has no business being on an MLB roster. At least we got one that inning.

I was around a buddy recently who knows someone that works in the clubhouse during those years and supposedly, Villar was an absolute ass face in regards to how he treated people.

I would like to think this isn't really true as I always liked Villar for the most part, but I was puzzled at how much he wound up in the doghouse that year with seemingly better options playing over him so I wouldn't be surprised if it is true unfortunately.

If so I can understand it's one of those situations where you really do have to look beyond the numbers, if a guy is creating a hostile work environment for others you don't want that in your clubhouse.

If you’re wondering (because I was), Tyler Mahle has only gone over 100 pitches once this year, and that was just 103.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

We have 4 guys in our starting lineup hitting over .200. Less than half. Lol?

One player over .240

And not much for reinforcements either. Not long ago, I was checking the milb teams and the AAA club had a starting lineup of Huira and the rest (pitcher included) as milb FAs and waiver claims. Brutal.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Starting the bottom of the 6th in the number 5 spot. Next chance to consider a run will come in the last of the 8th.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

And that’s it. You can tell Peralta is reaching the end of the line when he starts missing badly as his mechanics break down.

Hard to win when you know you can’t afford to give up a run.

Its hard to believe that anyone thinks this lineup is anything close to good enough.

0-11 w/6Ks in the 4-8 spots... hard to score any runs with that

The team as a whole is hitting .210.

This has been an extremely frustrating series.

Well, we haven't lost a series since May 19th 2 game series vs KC. That's actually hard to believe considering our bats. Says a lot about our pitching

This record is completely unsustainable unless the offense gets dramatically better.

Peralta did his job today.

Bats have to be better. It's the same familiar story that we've seen the entire season except for a decent stretch over the last few weeks, but recently they've gone back into hibernation again.
