The Brewers facing Jack Flaherty is one time when I miss Ryan Braun and his career 8-for-20 with 2 doubles, 4 HR, and 3 BB against Flaherty. The best current Brewers hitter against Flaherty has been Christian Yelich (8-for-25, 1 double, 2 HR, 3 BB).

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Will be at the game tonight. Couldn’t have asked for a better pitching draw. Hopefully they make the 7+ hour drive worth it!

Have fun and tell us all about it later! :)

Expecting to to see the same lineup as last night with maybe JBJ for Cain if they think he needs a day off and want to give it to him today instead of against Lester tomorrow.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Both Stearns and Counsell should get the awards this year and you can’t change my mind.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Thought this was kind of interesting when looking at Arenado's numbers the other day.

During his seven seasons with the Rockies he averaged +18 DRS per 150 games.

So far this year he is at +2 DRS in 115 games.

Rockies 3B (Ryan McMahon & Joshua Fuentes) are at +21 DRS.

Meanwhile, it seems like park effects are doing their job on offense with Arenado's 128 OPS+ so far this season virtually identical to the 129 OPS+ he posted during his peak with the Rockies from 2015-19.

Good call

I saw the O/U as 6.5...would totally take the over on that. I think the Brewers have Flaherty's number....plus, Cards seem to have the lineup that might be able to wait out Freddy. We will see. Hope the Crew wins 8-2.

Let’s get some runs tonight. Can’t count on going to Boxberger, Williams, and Hader again. I even wonder if all of them are available to go for the third time in 4 days, especially Williams who they seem to be extra cautious about.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Everything about Yelich playing baseball right now is sad. He had to take a two second windup to weakly get the ball back to 2nd.
