2021-09-08: Phillies (Gibson) at Brewers (Peralta) [Brewers win, 4-3 -- Escobar go-ahead HR proves the difference; Crew cuts magic number to 10]

[jason21nl]

This has been about annoying of a game as can be all with having a lead.

[phnxcrew]

Hopefully adames gets healthy. Urias with back to back excellent plays there

[BruisedCrew]

Those wasted opportunities are really looking big now.

[Joseph Zarr]

That was a pro's pro AB by Herrera there

[ReverendBrewmeister]

Both Woodruff and Peralta having a hard time finishing off Phillies batters after getting two strikes on them.

[yourout]

Looking like it will take 5+ to win this one.

[MrTPlush]

Harper with the bases loaded. Hopefully his big hit was with empty bases.

[Joseph Zarr]

Freddy is not Sharp. Missing his spots routinely. He's obviously still rusty.

I hope we aren’t hearing this three weeks from now

Me too!

[markedman5]

Freddy’s breaking ball just isn’t there.

Fastball location not good either

If this was a postseason game Counsell would have already pulled him.

[Joseph Zarr]

I'll take that pitch over a meatball to Harper who is hotter than any hitter in the League. Smart miss on that Slider.

[yourout]

Errors and walks.....ingredients for big innings.

[pacopete4]

Too much thinking. Get the ball and trust your stuff.

[markedman5]

Defense hasn’t helped either

[MrTPlush]

Urias had a chance to make up for his horrible inning…annnnnd nope.

[Joseph Zarr]

I think Luis needs to go have a cerveza and reset. Lol. That was a hard hit ball but still a play he can make.

This inning should've been over about 25 pitches ago. Edited September 9, 2021 by yfinn6

[yourout]

Freddys last hitter.

[willie key]

Peralta definitely not a lock to be that third pitcher in the playoffs. He’s going to have to have a couple of good outings the rest of the way here

[wibadgers23]

Get Freddy and Urias out of the game for the love of God.

[Joseph Zarr]

This is One of those games...where IF you pull out the Win despite yourself it is an accomplishment. Ugly game so far. BUT, winnable. And, that's what matters.

[phnxcrew]

Herrera not tossed for arguing. Obviously any of our hitters would’ve been

[JRob1125]

Could've been worse I guess
