I hope they wrap up the series win (which isn't really all that important at this point anyway) today so I don't have to pay attention tomorrow while at the Packer game.

Brandon Woodruff will be scratched from tomorrow’s start after dealing with the stomach flu, Craig Counsell said. Eric Lauer will start tomorrow and Freddy Peralta will pitch Tuesday, Woodruff on Wednesday in Detroit.

I’m ok with woodruff arm getting a little extra rest this time of year. Heck I’d give burnes and extra few days if it’s manageable after this start

Apparently Jace has been unavailable since Tuesday……..this is one reason I try not to 2nd guess managerial decisions……we just never know all that’s going on.

Game thread related, but Rock County sucks for Brewers radio. On Friday nights, we get pre-empted for high school football. I don't know if anyone else gets that treatement, but it's super, super annoying. The Brewers getting pre-empted for high school football is annoying enough.

 

Now on Saturday night, they're getting bumped on local radio for Badgers football.

 

WCLO has am and FM. I can see bumping the AM broadcast (I mean, I'd still be annoyed), but to bump both is ultra annoying, and leaves the Brewers fan base in this part of the state with very few options for radio.

Phew, that fumble by the RF spared us the possibility of watching Vogelbach demonstrate his sliding prowess.

 

And Tellez’s gapper meant he wouldn’t have to slide into the plate either.
