Dumb call, in my opinion. If you are trying to monitor his pitchcount why let him go 115? Another 10 pitches for a huge fan milestone is not a big difference.

I mean, a bigger fan milestone is making and winning a WS, which we're much less likely to do without Burnes, or with him ineffective.

Wow. It's been fun Brewerfan, but I might be done following baseball at this point. Not the game I enjoyed as a youth.

No. Disappointed. Been trending that way for about 5 years.

We are about 1,000 times closer to Burnes pitching a no-hitter in this game than we are from Burnes throwing 125 pitches rather than 115 pitches costing us the World Series.

Yeah, I mean he already has gone 115. I really don't know what difference there is going to be between 115 or 130 to just see what happens. You're going to give him a couple extra days off most likely anyway.

Maybe Hader's agent called and reminded Craig that it's a save situation.

You're upset during the season where they're a franchise high games over .500 with the horses to win the WS.

Well okay then; nice to know I can ignore you and your laughable takes.

Again, he is setting a career high for innings every time he takes the mound. This team has bigger aspirations than no-hitting a subpar Cleveland team. I want a title.

It’s not an either/or. These discussions on pitching always come down to “rest him or ruin him.” There’s a lot of grey area.

How ridiculous, no one cares about a combined no hitter....except maybe in little league. Let him finish it for cripes sakes Craig.

Disagree completely. A no-hitter is a no-hitter. And the Brewers haven't had one, combined or not, since 1987.

Eh. Again, he looked strong in the 8th. I really doubt he's suddenly going to be lost with 10 more pitches. It doesn't hurt anything to have Hader loose and go to him the moment he gives up a baserunner.

This is disgusting. Nolan Ryan would throw 200+ pitches every start.

Nolan Ryan is a once in a generation pitcher.

And we're not allowed to find out if Corbin Burnes could be too.

We are finding out. During this whole season.

Ah, I dunno. It still matters yes. It's definitely not as special as an individual one.

Doesn’t make sense to not

Send him out for the 9th. We’ve been incredibly

Careful with all these guys. Let him have a moment and let

The team enjoy it as well.

Sorry, this sucks. Going 130 pitches every outing? Sure, bad idea. But one time? I'll take the risk/ reward.

The kid fan in my agrees with you. It would be awesome to see Burnes get it. But the big picture fan in me sees the logic in this.

Yes, I understand CC pulling him even though if he was going to he should've done it last inning, but if Hader finishes this off without giving up a hit I don't consider this a real no hitter.
