Literally almost every post so far is just about the Cubs/Cardinals game.

Some of us are going to the Brewers game tonight and hoping for a rare opportunity to see the Brewers clinch a division title. So, we’re watching the Cubs-Cards game because that’s an essential part of it.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

That is the joy of the 1 game wild card. They could play out of their minds the rest of the year and get eliminated with one loss.

Hopefully the Cubs can get one this afternoon and then Burnes can get us a division title tonight. That would be pretty cool.

 

Or not. I forgot the Cubs absolutely suck and the Cardinals can’t be stopped right now.

I can’t wait for the Cardinals’ version of Craigtember to be over in one playoff game. It will make me feel better about our 2019 season.

It seems like the Brewers don’t care if they only go 5-6 innings, the K rates probably wouldn’t be so high if they were trying harder to go deep into games. Hard to argue with the results
