Mancini sounds like something you'd order at an Italian sandwich shop.

I had it, but it wasn't good.  Total swing and a miss.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

A little more exciting than I like, but I'll take it!

Still working out some wildness on the pitchers.

I am not regretting my pledge not to watch Williams. My doctor advised me against watching him.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

As long as you don't punch a wall because you can't watch him, I think your doctor's recommendations are working quite nicely. I salute you!

For all the comments of Brewers woes, after watching the Devin inning, I turned to my wife and said, "What are Orioles fans saying right now?'

I was watching the Orioles broadcast and Jim Palmer and Ben McDonald were drooling over Williams' change. Once he found it after the first three batters, they were basically giving the verbal equivalent of ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

When the inning started, Palmer said something to the effect of, "If you want to see pitching as art, you'll want to watch this."

Yeah he has so much movement on that pitch I can see how he loses control of it at times.

He is so unique. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like him as far as pitch movement. Bruce suter was probably one of the few that was close in the amount of movement on that split finger
