I don't know if I can sit thru another miserable exhibition of this team playing like garbage and getting shellacked by the lousy Nationals.  You have to wonder if this continues how long before heads will roll.

I know its a long season, but this feels like as close to a "must win" game as you'll find it June.  They have the pitching advantage, they are in a tailspin, and I feel pretty good about giving the ball to Lauer.  Looking at that list from the OP there is a decent amount of past success vs Corbin.  Im with Pugger^, my patience is wearing thin as a viewer.

This is the frustrating part of having a team like this. CC is a big picture, stay-the-course manager. And it's worked extremely well. But when you get into a malaise like this & just want to see emotion, a sense of urgency, some anger, you just aren't going to see it (unless he gets a chance to vent at an umpire like last night, and even then it takes a week + of crappy baseball to bring it out). If directed at his players a la Piniella, it probably wouldn't have a positive effect anyway as emotionally they don't seem to be built to respond positively to that. 

First game of the Philly series notwithstanding, just take a lead into the 6th-7th for once.

Oddly enough, I’m attending a wedding this afternoon too … it is an outdoor wedding in west Texas … temperature will be 105

This is the only experience I could have - sweating like the pilot in the movie Airplane - that could compare to the misery I experience watching the Brewers play baseball

It is kinda alarming the state of our minor leagues that we can't bring up anybody who could provide a spark , maybe I'm not understanding the whole ( don't want to start service time thing)  but there has to be somebody who can play better than cain

Jonathan Davis at least provides as good of defense as Cain and is hitting over .300 with an .852 OPS in AAA
