Wait, Hader had an at bat (and a hit) against Hendricks? Slot him as the DH!

How did that even happen?

When Hader was a multi inning guy he would occasionally get a plate appearance, looks like he ended up with 8 total from 2017-19.

In that particular game he relieved Woodruff after Brandon threw 95 pitches over 3.2 IP & then lead off the 5th with his lone career single before coming around to score on an Eric Thames bomb.

It seems like the Brewers against Hendricks over the years have been kind of a feast or famine proposition. Sometimes he completely baffles them and other times they hit him like he was pitching batting practice.

With Alexander starting  and the bullpen short handed I don’t think the Brewers are going to win 2-1 tonight. The runs have been harder to come by since the big outburst on Friday. Tonight would be a good night to put some runs on the board early.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Another defensive miscue by Wong screws up what should have been a sure DP.

This team was built around run prevention

Botched defensive plays in the first two innings

Wong needs to use last year’s glove

Rowdy needs to help Urius by coming off the bag to hold the batter to one base

The bullpen had better be busy. This could blow up quick.

He's got this inning unless Cubs score 4+

Brewers have to be leading the league in BS soft contact that ends up as a hit or something good for the opponent.

Soft BS contact is the best thing in the current MLB besides strikeouts for a pitcher

The last two rollers to Urias are a case in point. He made two nice plays to limit the damage.
