Just keep playing him. DH at 8th in order.  As we saw in five innings tonight, it’s an adventure for him in the field. 
Sadly, I expect him to sit the next two days, get pinch hit the next game, and then play him in LF two days later. I feel for the guy even though he has made his bed.
