Mitchell hitting .500 in his last 6 games. And that includes an 0-3 in the game Scherzer started.

Let's hear it for Garrett!

Good start in Philly. Braves up 2-0.

Gotta get this thing down to 1, 1.5 after Cards series. They do that, I might believe. I think they can pick off 5 or 6 of those last seven, and I think one of Philly or SD drops 4.

Starts tonight.

1 game at a time, but we really need a sweep over the Reds if we want to make the playoffs. I think 9-2 gets us in, but even that isn't even close to a lock.

Time for burnes to put up a zero against a crappy team.  Looks like Atlanta is giving us a window to go 1.5 back…

Maybe another day for Burnes to post a zero.

BTW, for Renfroe supposedly having a great arm, he sure seems to make a lot of weak and/or way off target throws.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

If you listen to our announcers, all of our players are great at everything.

I wonder if the Brewers are the only team in the MLB without a regular having an ops of .800 or greater?

The Reds for one.

Edit: The Royals and Tigers.  So pretty much the worst teams in MLB.

Pssssst...Renfroe just snuck past 0.800 OPS. The narrative is in dire straits. ?

Can you just do a preemptive rag on everybody on this team?
