With Uribe ejected in Nashville last night, and Megill ejected tonight...assuming if either has a suspension they can't be brought up?

What's the rule if we call them up before suspensions are handed out?  Does their suspension wait until we send them back down?  (Wishful thinking)

Why does Williams lately or all season IDK not waste a FB above the zone? All 6 pitches there bottom 3rd of the zone.  Noticed this in the Cubs blown save.  Just kept pitching low and never changed the batter's eyes on levels.  I don't think Contreras is doing a good job managing pitch sequencing....(with that article on his movements with runners on 2b as a question to why Atlanta traded him)

Best approach against Devin is to hunt fastballs up and spit on anything down because it’s hard to land the change up for a strike.

Fastball down plays better location wise off the change up to steal called strikes.

No. 75, my man. Not going to help you much if one of your top 5 relievers gets injured due to overuse.

If we are that worried about overusing relievers and holding them off for games we may not need them, maybe CC should just shut it down.

I have no problem with Devin coming into this game and sealing the win because we absolutely needed it. But it was crucial that Miller finish the game because Devin’s likely unavailable tomorrow with his usage over the past 10 days or so. Contrary to the opinions of some, that does matter. Counsell isn’t going to let Devin throw his arm off and get injured, as we’ll need him in September every bit as much as we need him now.

With the five run lead the walks are the thing that just cannot happen.

I don't care if the first two guys hit them halfway to the state line you don't walk them.

Obviously the organization is fine with this as it's been happening all year.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

The only problem was Miller wasn’t able to finish the Reds off. I agree with your comment, he was absolutely needed. Hopefully we can have a wide enough margin tomorrow, he can have the day off, and he’ll be ready for Sunday. Go Brewers.

Senzel still can't hit RHP.

So far this year he has 48 wRC+ against RHP.

He also hit the game winning HR in the 10th inning against a RHP yesterday so, even if he doesn’t do it well, he CAN hit RHP.

I don’t care who it is, in a game that went like today’s did I don’t want to see the tying run at the plate.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

And Teheran should be long relief for one of two games; Houser can pitch an inning in a couple of days.

I remember his high above-near top of zone FBs getting swings and misses in previous seasons.  Working the lower 1/3rd of the zone only seems easier to prepare your swing. Foul off pitches like Tauchman did to hit that 2b.  High inside? Where's the management where a batter is ice blue on contact up in the zone but nuetral-red in bottom 2/3rds of zone? You have say a Hiura at the plate why would Williams just continue pitching bottom 3rd when Hiura can't connect on top of zone FBs?
