Can they keep hitting like this the rest of the summer?

They are an exciting team that looks like the care about winning unlike the Brewers that appears like they are going through the motions. I’m sure CC will not hold anyone accountable and that sends a message to every player on this team that it doesn’t really matter how badly you screw up. CC is just not interested and is already thinking about watching his boys play baseball.

He's also 2 years older than Chourio, if we're doing comparisons.

Yes … older & better at this stage

Age is a factor but so is talent

If not - we need to sign Nelson Cruz (age 43) who San Diego recently cut loose

Reds are fun.  I don’t hate them.

I'd rather them than the Cards, Cubs or Pirates in first if not us.

The Abner Uribe era has begun!

Go get 'em kid!

If Yelich doesn't get that asinine strike call from the 3rd base ump we might have scored there and this is an entirely different game.  The Reds are good no question but got a gift there too.

Gift caused by Brewers inattention or they just don’t cause no one will hold them accountable.

They still have a top prospect (Christian Encarnacion-Strand) just waiting in the minors but there isn't room for him.  (They have been playing him in the OF though in AAA)  Wish we had even close to this kind of excitement on the Brewers.

It's as if building from the ground up is more advantageous than plugging holes with retreads year after year.

I can't muster up hate for the Pirates either.  They have been bad for so long, they just haven't mattered.

Hate for the Cardinals runs deep though, and the Cubs as well, but not on the Cardinals level.

I was talking about that "strike" call on Yelich, not the steal of home.

You look down their lineup at the numbers and it's quite an eye opener.

The Brewers record would look a bit better with even 1/2 of that lineup.

The Brewers are starting Colin Rea every fifth day. I don’t think “caring enough” is the problem here.

That was a terrible call no doubt, but it was strike one … a $26M per year former MVP had an opportunity to recover & failed this time … but he’s been great recently & that’s baseball

The Reds are silly good, young, & fun & they took advantage & cashed in quickly

I hate that they play in our division … they will be good for the next several years

Dominant. This guy will solve one of the last two bullpen spots that has been killing us. No more Tyson Miller or Matt Bush.

Wouldn't be shocked if it's Williams, Payamps, and Uribe closing games for us in the 2nd half.

Aside from maybe the Yankees and any team from Texas, I don't think I really hate any team, But I have "disliked" the Reds since the Big Red Machine days, when all of my family were Reds fans (Johhny Bench being from our state of OK) and I was the lone frustrated Dodger fan.

That call changes the at bat.  The Reds don't need that kind of help.
