Tonight, I'd rather see Packers swing a trade sending one of their young wrs who won't see the field in 2024 plus one-two of their current picks for an established starter at CB or 4-3 D lineman with a rebuilding team that needs picks/wrs.

Ok, so devil's advocate, do we overstate the need for a CB?

I mean we barely had Jaire last season and seemed to get by ok.

Cooper is a great pick by the way.

If stokes wasnt a pumpkin, maybe....I think they had a pretty soft schedule in terms of playing teams that could sling it and it really helped their depleted secondary.

All I have is beer that's like 12.5% abv. I hope this draft ends soon.

So, sitting pat at your slot is being passive?

Trading up didn't exactly work for Mike Sherman.

However trading up for Jordan Love sure did work out very well for Gutey.

Gutey has said a number of times he likes the group they have. Maybe he's not bluffing?

I have been reading predictions that Packers will pick up Stokes 5th year option which seems nuts. But maybe they know something we don't and expect him back and starting. We still need a slot corner though.

It's possible. Valentine looked really good. Stokes was an outstanding rookie and maybe they have more confidence in him coming back from a really bad injury?

Or they think they can add one of the FSU Corners, Bullard from UGA(not a CB, but can play the slot) or Jackson from Oregon?

I think that can be true but also know they need to add more for depth towards the top of their draft, too.

Was it barrel aged at a refinery?

Slow sips with it in a chilled cozy, my friend!

Yup. Bourbon barrel.

I had a neighbor who was a brewmaster at a local brewery, with a connection at a local distillery....several of his experimental batches with bourbon barrels made for early nights!

Look at Rosengarden, Suamataia, or Paul next pick.

I'm looking at Jaden Hicks, Rakestraw, or Bishop personally.

I can not believe I'm typing what I am typing and truly mean this:

I LOVE the Commanders draft

(No need for a House visit Health check)

I'd go Bullard from UGA, but I'm never mad at OL depth...and all 3 of those are guys with big upsides(the later two more so IMO).

I forgot Bullard. Derp. Any of Hicks, Bishop, Bullard, Rakestraw AND let's not forget Kneeland who I find great Value here.

I like Rakestraw and Hicks over Bishop and Bullard, however they might trade down for more picks.

Once again we approach our pick and I am self-speaking: So much talent on the board. Love the way this draft is falling to GB.

I agree. Daniels looks like a stud. I think he could be a better version of Lamar. I don't even think that's hyperbole. His biggest weakness seems to be that he doesn't like throwing it over the middle, but he can dot guys up on the outside of the hashes and he's an electric runner. Lamar's biggest weakness is throwing outside the hashes and you can certainly get a guy to throw the ball between the hashes.

Then Newton, Sainstrail, Sinnot? If they'd have taken Paul there, it'd would have been nearly perfect IMO.

Trey Benson would be probably the only skill player I'd want to see here.

How’s about a RB…Corum, Wright, Davis or Allen.

This is way too early for Davis IMO, but I like him. Isn't he nearly 25 though? May be wrong about that. No shot on Allen for me.

Wright is dangerous and Corum is good, also older.

Wright I'd be good with or Benson. But I think they have to go secondary here...
