Thats the only reason I can think of but you have to know you will want to trade up later. I could see it more trading into 25.

It also takes a team willing to bite on a package of picks to trade back up.  If value in this draft is top 120, those picks are going to be harder to pry free.  If you're starting with 5-6 of them, no point in my mind to trade down a few spots in round 2 to add a couple more in rounds 4-5 in hopes you can use those to get back into round 2 or 3 again later.

If they're being that passive then they were ok not getting him.

So, sitting pat at your slot is being passive?

Trading up didn't exactly work for Mike Sherman.

I think he's more physical than Quay...but every bit the athlete!

I think we got a very good Mike and an outstanding nickel LB!

Got a Cooper!!!!

Really was the biggest need-if Packers had went with Cooper in the 1st and Morgan in the 2nd I would have been pretty cool with that so can’t really complain.

Hard to know the timing but NFL/TV doesn't give us picks real time so could have been we traded down after Philly took DeJEan

That's exactly what happens.  All teams are informed immediately when the pick is turned into the league, not when it is announced on TV four minutes later.

You don't appreciate the great BJ Sanders era?

OH man I LOVE LOVE LOVE me some Edgerrin Cooper. I can't believe we got him after the trade back. This is a huge get for my personal excitement meter. So explosive IN game. Man, he's a weapon. Hafley is going to LOVE this pick.

SO, I am throwing two more chips in the Center:

Dwayne Carter and Javon Foster.

Two more guys I fell in Love with during 'The Process'.

Really not that upset. I just liked the guy.

I'm going to pre-apologize for comments I make later this evening.  These beers are going down way, way too easily...

What happens on draft night stays on draft night lol

You are allowed to be whoever you are when the drunk eyes arrive. I am unoffended.

Maybe he would have been their pick but they also seemed prepared to move down so at most they were willing to gamble.

I should have used Blue Font. I am good with any and all reactions. Was trying to be 'funny'.
