There's a reason why he's in the comparables conversations with guys like Acuna, Soto, Harper, etc when it comes to rocketing through the minors and debuting in MLB as a kid.  He is different.

Rea did a really nice job with a Miley-esque start.  The offense certainly looks better than last year.  Would be nice to get Frelick going though.   Very nice job by Hudson and Payamps looks like the early version of himself last year.  

The worst part of the series was the announcer missing that Team Streak went 13-0 instead of 12-0 as he mentioned.  Love that '87 squad!

I'll give Stearns a break, he took over a dumpster fire. They are paying Schezer. Verlander and McCain like 65 million. That being said he had a iffy offseason in my book.

Yeah I agree. More depth. If Turang can just be average it helps. Love the use of speed on the bases. The Diamondbacks did it last year and ended up in the series.

Great point, no Winker, Voit, Anderson, young guys struggling. 9 hits, 6 walks, a catcher int. Everything looks solid, rotation, lineup, pen, depth, coaching. NICE, VERY NICE
