Started 5-0 in 2006.

I see they just put that on TV. Hopefully this season will go better than that one.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

We won another close game……without our all star closer …..maybe the former manager didn’t deserve ALL the credit for our results in those the last few years as some in the media …. and the team to the south (that gave him the bag ) have proclaimed?

I hesitate to even jump in here and mess with the mojo but heck of a start and I haven't really been able to follow them because I've been tied up on business.

It isn't easy for a 1B to stand out defensively compared to other spots on the field. Bauers had to deal with some tough plays today & did it very smoothly. I wasn't happy with the trade, but maybe they win w/o him today....and maybe not.

You just have to hand it to this organization for identifying people that fly under the radar a bit but can help win games. Dunn & Hudson are the early leaders in that particular clubhouse, I guess.

I had no idea how much, if at all, Junis was stretched out in March. But I was disappointed he didn't come out for the fifth.

After what happened in NY & the walk today to the first man he faced, I thought Milner looked much more like his 2023 self.

Bottom of the 7th was frustrating. Jay Jay goes deep into the count vs everybody but Adames swings 3-1 leading the inning off, then the CS. Coulda shoulda.

That was one impressive play by Uribe on the back end of that DP.

LOL...fair enough. But, I've still got faith in Sal.

As do I. From the neck up the quality of the guys' ABs in 2023, for someone with his lack of experience, was way too impressive to start dumping on him after 3 starts in 2024.

I don't see a replay on Bally's.  Was it not on Bally's today?  The last game I see is game 2 at NYM.

EDIT: Nevermind, showing up now.  App not updating.

For those of you who were at the game today, was it a sellout?  I have been to many opening days but it just didn't work out today.

The only thing better than the Twins losing is a Brewers win!  What a great opening day!

The Cubs and Cardinals losing are both better than the Twins losing... just sayin'

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

When Minnesota losses, America wins!  That state should be walled off and kicked out of the union.

I have no desire to sit through another season of watching Jessie Winker/Jake Bauers "hit".  Tommie Pham is out there so is Brandon Belt.  Both would be better than Jake Bauers and I would think they wouldn't be that expensive.

If Belt can play even a decent 1B, he's so incredibly obvious that I don't know what they're waiting for.  Unless he just doesn't want to play here/1B.
