Megill's great 9th inning started with catching Willy's homerun in the bullpen while warming up for the save.

(Rewatch the HR - I just noticed it)

I remember a game in 2018 in Colorado down 2 in the 9th 2 outs nobody on where they came back to win, I wonder if this is the first time since then they've had a 2 out nobody on rally to win when down multiple runs.

I had the sound off because I was following the severe weather warnings

What was the deal with the Royals fan Adames was high fiving on his way to the dugout.

I have to fight my instincts to stay positive. I've been so beat down over the years being a packer and badger fan and expecting the worst at the worst time.

Megill just frigging nasty

Well rested after time off from BP ball hitting him.

I've ragged on Adames often for his lack of plate discipline, which has been better this year. But he certainly isn't afraid of the moment. Really needed that.

I'm sure it's worked at times, but I really hate the "attack early" strategy when it isn't dependent on reading tendencies early in the game, hopefully getting some baserunners, and then doing it situationally. Then I have to listen to levering & Rottino lamenting about Lugos' low Pitch count. Well gee guys, I wonder why that is?? BTW, the back-to-backs were two ABs where we DIDN'T put it in play early.

Fantastic, veteran AB by Sanchez ahead of the HR.

I just hate Megill. His acquisition didn't move the needle at all.😄

Willy said those guys were talking during the game……friendly banter……they to.d him when Sanchez was up “ we want you …..he responded you sure about that?”

funny stuff

Dillard doesn’t understand why high leverage guys aren’t used in the 7th and 8th innings when the team is behind in Early may……….

You would think he would get it or ask so they can enlighten him……..can’t wait for him to complain about them being overused in 2 or 3 days.
